Selling

Sell your beats. vvault takes 0%.

An artist loves the beat and wants it. They pay on your vvault page, by card, Apple Pay or Google Pay, and get their files with a licence in their name. vvault takes no commission: only Stripe's card fees apply.

Selling comes with Pro and Ultra. vvault takes 0% on both.

A sound kit for sale on vvault: its cover, the producer, a Buy button at €59.99, paid by card, Apple Pay or Google Pay through Stripe

Your licences, your prices

There is no single standard for beat licences, so vvault doesn't force one on you.

As many licences as you want

MP3 lease, WAV lease, trackout, unlimited, exclusive: create the ones you sell, each with its own price.

Terms with real numbers

Each licence spells out its limits, like streams or music videos, or marks them unlimited. No vague "commercial use".

A PDF for every sale

The buyer gets a licence PDF with their name and your terms, the proof of what they bought.

Beats, packs and kits

Sell a single beat, a whole pack or a sound kit, from the same page artists already listen on.

What 0% means

vvault takes nothing on your sales, on Pro and on Ultra. Payments go through Stripe, and Stripe's card fees are the only thing taken off. You connect your Stripe account once, and your earnings and payouts show up in vvault.

  • No vvault commission
  • Card, Apple Pay and Google Pay
  • Earnings and payouts in one place

Your first sale

  1. Set up your licences

Pick what each one includes and what it costs. Start from the usual MP3, WAV, trackout and exclusive.

  2. Put a beat up for sale

Choose which licences it's sold with. It appears with a Buy button on your page and its own link.

  3. Get paid

The artist pays, gets the files and the licence PDF, and the sale shows up in your notifications and earnings.

Questions

Which plan do I need to sell?

Pro or Ultra: selling comes with both, and vvault takes 0% on either.

Who writes the licence?

You do: you set the terms of each licence and vvault fills in the sale's details. It isn't legal advice, so for a big deal, have a lawyer read it. Beat licences, explained.

Do I need a Stripe account?

Yes. Stripe handles the payments and pays you out. You connect it from vvault once.

Never wonder who listened again.

Pro or Ultra, monthly or yearly. Cancel anytime.
