Anyone, with or without a vvault account, can report content they believe is illegal or breaks the Terms of Use: a track, a pack, a kit, a plugin, a profile, artwork or a message. A person examines every report.
This document exists in French and in English. Both versions have the same value; in case of doubt, the interpretation most favourable to the consumer prevails.
1What your report must contain
So that we can act quickly, include (Article 16(2) of the Digital Services Act):
- the exact link (URL) of each piece of content concerned;
- why you believe it is illegal or breaks the Terms; for an infringement of your copyright, the work concerned and your right in it;
- your name and e-mail address (except to report child sexual abuse material or another serious crime, which you may report anonymously);
- a statement that you believe in good faith that the information provided is accurate and complete.
2Where to send it
By e-mail to contact@vvault.app (the button above prepares the message), or with the "Report" action on a profile or in a conversation. A report sent by post to the registered office (Minderbroedersstraat 10, 8000 Brugge, Belgium) is valid but slower.
If someone's life or safety is at risk, contact the emergency services first.
3What happens next
We acknowledge receipt, decide diligently and objectively, and tell you our decision. The person whose content is restricted receives a statement of reasons and may contest the decision within six months (section 9 of the Terms of Use).
The full procedure, including counter-notices and the measures against abusive reports, is in the Copyright and Illegal Content policy (vvault.app/homepage/copyright).
